Counselling – Virtual, In-Office or Email

Real In-OfficeCounselling: I have a beautiful office in Fanny Bay and I look forward to welcoming clients from Courtenay and the Comox Valley or as far away as Nanaimo or Port Alberni! I would be honoured to help you explore how to negotiate this phase – or polish the next phase – of your life!

Counselling via Virtual (Online) Counselling works well… I also work via Psychology Today’s virtual office system, which enables great flexibility. Virtual counselling is convenient as you don’t need an office to commute to or a babysitter or parking space to find. Sometimes waiting times are also shorter. There is the odd glitchy moment online but overall I find sessions to be good – often just as good – as in-office.

Email: is journalling alongside a counsellor, who will act both as your ally in this world and also as a devil’s advocate! Feedback – or a human sounding-board is invaluable to help process your experiences. Do swirling thoughts keep you awake in the middle of the night? Write them down and send them off to me and then turn over and sleep soundly…

Contact me! Please ask any questions you may have.

Whether you feel ready to make an appointment or just want to ask a question , I look forward to hearing from you.

You Choose Your Appointment: making an appointment is easy! Please send me a contact email and suggest three times/days that would work for you. Hopefully one of these times will work for both of us and I will send you confirmation of your appointment.

Fees: I invoice you after our appointment. I will send you an invoice by email (individual counselling $115 and couples fees $135) and ask that you settle your invoice with an e-transfer the same day. It is also possible to use a credit card.

The forms required before counselling: a short Intake form, and an explanation of and agreement to Limits of Confidentiality and Code of Ethics. These 3 forms are available on this website (without the need to download or scan) – just click on the links.

Intake Form: Before our appointment, please submit an Intake form, with a paragraph or two describing your goal in counselling and asking any questions you might have.

After your session I will send you an invoice by email ((individual counselling $115 and couples fees $135) and ask that you settle your invoice with an e-transfer the same day. It is also possible to use a credit card.

CueCards are available and enable you to carry on with your work outside of our sessions. These CueCards help make your progress faster and more economical.

Connection Cue cards and RelationshipCue cards are $69.95 per set or $99 when bought together. Order your cards using the Contact form. I will send you an invoice by email and on receipt of payment they will be sent to you direct from the printer. Soon you will be able to order the cards, online, here, directly from the printer.

Email Coaching – or counselling – is also available. It’s great for those times when you wake up in the middle of the night and want to deal with an issue ‘right now’. Or if you would simply like my thoughts on a subject. Write your first email, up to 300 words and send it, using the same Email Counselling form…

Then go back to sleep! I will send you an invoice – either for one email and return for $35 or pack of 5 emails and returns for $120. Let me know which package you would like and I will send you an invoice by email. Within 24 hours of settling the invoice, I will send your reply. This can also be a very useful add-on to online or in-office counselling.

In-office counselling is also available – as is Consultant Supervision! Just send me an email with your questions – click here!
